LG Thrive is a fair quality phone launched some years ago, in 2011, which features a 3.2-inches capacitive touch-screen, a 3.2 megapixels back facing camera and a fast 600 megahertz processing unit.
LG decided to power this device with a good 600 MHz processor. This phone comes with a 153,6 MB internal storage memory, a little quantity that could be adequate for some users knowing that it also has a slot for external memory cards to store pictures and videos and even some apps and games that allow being installed in the external memory.
LG is offering this device in color gray. This device is a bit thick compared to today's phones, with a thickness of 0.53 inches. The LG Thrive is 4.47" long and 2.32 inches wide, but it's only able to pack a much smaller 3.2 inches display. It appears that LG forgot about weight optimization in this 4.58 ounces phone.
LG equipped this cellphone with an average 3.2" display, and a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes everything look nice. This display uses LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
This phone only features a 3.2 mega-pixels back camera. This phone also features auto-focus.
The LG Thrive uses a medium 1500 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides this phone a poor battery duration. This cellphone has an aproximate talk time of 7.5 hours and a stand by time of 480 hours.
The LG Thrive provides wi-fi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a hotspot) and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
This phone also includes some useful characteristics as Bluetooth (2.1), GPS Navigation and FM Radio, and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
The LG Thrive is not a very good choice considering it is priced $ 125, while many similar devices are a lot cheaper than that.
