Meizu MX Review

64 GB Quad Core     See other variants reviews Score: 49.7 / 100

Meizu MX is a decent quality Android phone, packing a great performance 1400 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a 4 inches multi-touch capacitive screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. We will get a better understanding of this phone's characteristics when we get into deeper details.

Even though this cellphone is very thin it's not so thin as many other phones you can find, with a thickness of 0.41 inches. This cellphone isn't very light comparing to other phones , with a weight of 4.9 ounces.

This phone is equipped with a very good 960 x 640 4-inches display, making everything look very good. Its display uses LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

Meizu decided to design this cellphone using a great performance Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1.4 gigahertz, bundled in a Samsung Exynos 4 (4412) system chip. An amazing aspect of the Meizu MX is its astonishing 64 GB internal memory and though it doesn't include an SD memory slot, it is still enough to install hundreds of applications and even the heaviest games available nowadays without even thinking about running out of space.

This phone has WiFi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Meizu MX works with a Micro SIM card for GSM connection.

This cellphone has two cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. This phone can also capture videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. This phone also counts with a couple of good features like auto-focus, flash, HDR mode, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone has a 1700 mAh medium Li-Polymer replaceable battery that provides this cellphone a not very long battery duration.

The Meizu MX also includes a handful of nice features as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Meizu MX is not a very good choice considering it is offerred for 699 dollars, while some similar phones are offerred way cheaper than that.
