Micromax Canvas Engage Review

Micromax Canvas Engage is a little bit outdated phone, packing a good performance Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1200 megahertz, a medium sized 4" multi touch display, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's only the shortest summary on earth.

Micromax only sells this cellphone in color black. This phone is only 0" long, but it still manages to hold a 4" screen.

This phone is equipped with a nice 4-inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, providing this cellphone with a detailed graphical experience.

Micromax decided to equip this cellphone with a fast Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 gigahertz and 512 MB RAM.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. Additionally, the camera counts with auto-focus and flash.

This cellphone uses a 1500 mAh mid capacity battery, which is quite low for a demanding device like this. According to Micromax, the Micromax Canvas Engage has a reported 5 hours talk time and a 200 hs stand by time.

This device counts with WiFi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a wireless modem or router) and fast 3G connectivity, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone supports dual SIM cards so it can to use 2 different phone numbers and even different carriers at the same time.

This phone also comes with a handful of nice characteristics as Bluetooth (enables communication with other cellphones and accessories), GPS Geolocation and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is not a very good choice considering it is offerred for 155 dollars, and other similar phones can be found for much less money.
