Pantech Burst is a decent quality cellphone launched some years ago, in 2012, with a powerful Dual-Core CPU running at 1500 megahertz, a 4" touch-screen, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. We will get a better idea about this phone's specs when we get into specific details.
The Pantech Burst comes with a Qualcomm system chip, which holds a powerful Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1500 megahertz. A nice aspect of this cellphone is its quite big 16 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, enough to install a couple hundred apps without any trouble.
Apparently Pantech didn't care much about the weight in this 4.32 oz cellphone. While the Pantech Burst is quite thin it's not as thin as many other devices currently available, with a thickness of 0.45 inches.
The Pantech Burst features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. It is capable of shooting videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 19 fps. In addition, the camera includes auto-focus and flash.
Pantech designed the Pantech Burst with a good level 4" display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , making everything look colorful and brightful. This display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
This phone offers Wi-Fi connection (and it can share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G fast connection type and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Pantech Burst uses a SIM card to use GSM services.
This device also comes with a few cool characteristics such as Bluetooth (allows communication with other cellphones and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
This phone packs a medium sized 1650 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides this device a poor battery duration. According to Pantech, this cellphone has a reported 4.5 hours talk time and a 240 hs stand by time.
This cellphone is very overvalued considering it is priced $ 140, and many similar phones can be found for much less money.
