Nokia C6 is a fair quality Symbian phone launched back in the year 2010, featuring a good CPU speeding at 434 megahertz, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a medium 3.2" resistive display. Great! That's it? No, it's just the starting point.
Nokia decided to design this cellphone using a quite powerful 434 MHz CPU with just 128 MB RAM memory. The Nokia C6 comes with a mediocre 245,76 MB internal storage, which may be enough for basic users considering it also has a slot for external memory cards to store songs, pictures and videos and even some games and apps that can be installed in the external memory.
The Nokia C6 is a bit heavyweight comparing with today standards, weighting 5.29 oz. This cellphone is 4.46 inches long, it just packs a way smaller 3.2 inches screen. The Nokia C6 is a little thick compared to nowadays devices, with a thickness of 0.66".
The Nokia C6 is equipped with only a 5 MP back facing camera. Its back facing camera lens has a maximum F2.8 aperture so it has a lot of trouble taking clear pictures in dark environments. It can also film videos up to 640x480 (VGA) at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera includes some nice characteristics: flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.
The Nokia C6 includes a nice 3.2-inches screen with a 640 x 360 resolution, giving this cellphone a nice graphic quality. Its screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.
This cellphone uses a 1200 mAh small sized Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this device running for many hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage. According to Nokia, this phone has a reported stand by time of 400 hs and a talk time of 7 hours.
The Nokia C6 offers Wi-Fi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a router or modem) and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
This phone also includes a couple of useful characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
The Nokia C6 is really overpriced considering it costs 199 dollars, and some similar phones are a lot cheaper than that.
