OPPO R1S Review

OPPO R1S is a nice Android device, having an extremely powerful 1.6 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a quite big 5-inches multi touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 13 MP back-facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front facing camera.

Whereas the OPPO R1S only has 5.62 inches long and 2.77 inches wide, it's able to fit a a 5 inches display. This cellphone is just 0.28 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest device's category. This phone is sold in 2 different colors, blue and white. Oppo did a very nice design job making this cellphone weight only 4.94 oz.

This phone includes a good looking 1280 x 720 (HD) 5 inches screen, which makes all pictures and movies look very good. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

Oppo equipped this cellphone with an extremely powerful Quad-Core processor running at 1600 megahertz, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip and only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little bit poor considering its impressive processing power. Collaborating with graphic rendering, it also has an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit clocking at 450 megahertz. This cellphone has anice 16 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't include an external memory card slot, it is enough to store hundreds of apps and games, although it might not be suitable if you are fan of the largest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.

This device has two cameras, a 13 megapixels back facing camera and a 5 megapixels front facing camera. Whereas it's 13 megapixels might seem great the back facing camera has a very little 0.326797 inches sensor which makes photos be less detailed and darker than they should. Additionally, the camera counts with a couple of interesting characteristics like flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This phone provides wifi connection (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G (LTE) high speed connectivity and 3G connectivity, supported by UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM networks.

The OPPO R1S packs a large 2410 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, enough to provide the OPPO R1S with an extremely long battery life.

This phone also comes with a handful of interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth (allows communication with other phones and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device is not very convinient considering it is offerred for 249 dollars, and some similar cellphones are offerred way cheaper than that. The OPPO R1S is the correct choice for you if you want it majorly for social networks and internet browsing.
