Panasonic ELUGA power Review

Score: 54.8 / 100

Panasonic ELUGA power is a pretty good Android cellphone released back in 2012, which features an 8 megapixels back facing camera, a big 5-inches multi-touch display and a very fast Dual-Core CPU running at 1.5 gigahertz.

This phone is powered by an exceptional Dual-Core processor running at 1500 megahertz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little disappointing comparing with its great CPU. Graphic calculations often uses a lot of processing time, so it has an extra 400 MHz Adreno 225 graphics processing unit to unload the processor. This device has a good 8 GB internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, enough to store hundreds of apps without any trouble.

The Panasonic ELUGA power is very thin and good-looking, with a thickness of just 0.38". Even though this cellphone is only 5.35 inches long and 2.76 inches wide, it manages to hold a 5 inches display. Panasonic has made a great job making this cellphone weight only 4.69 ounces. This device is only available in color black.

The Panasonic ELUGA power only has an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera. It is also able to capture videos in Full HD 1920x1080. This camera also counts with a couple of nice features like auto-focus, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.

Panasonic packed this phone with a very good 5 inches screen, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), making everything look beautiful. This screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This phone has WiFi connectivity (which it can share with other devices as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.

This cellphone also features a couple of interesting features such as NFC, Bluetooth (for communication with other phones and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone uses a medium capacity 1800 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides the Panasonic ELUGA power a poor battery durationcompared to other cellphones.

This cellphone is not very cheap considering it costs $ 125, and other similar cellphones cost a lot less than that.
