PCD ships the PCD Chaser with a Qualcomm MSM7627T chip, including a fast processing unit ticking at 800 megahertz and 512 MB RAM.
This cellphone is quite thick for today's standards, with a thickness of 0.55". This phone isn't a very compact device, considering it is 4.5 inches long and 2.2 inches wide,but it only packs a 3.2 inches display. Apparently PCD forgot about optimizing the weight in this 4.2 oz phone.
PCD packed this cellphone with a mediocre 3.2-inches screen, and a resolution of x , making everything look worse than it really is. This screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
This phone is equipped with only a 3 MP back-facing camera. To complete the camera, it also features flash.
The PCD Chaser offers Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a modem or router) and 3G internet connection, using EV-DO A technologies. The PCD Chaser doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM connections and it can connect to CDMA carriers.
This device also features a few useful features such as Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth phones and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
The PCD Chaser counts with a 1450 mAh mid capacity replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a consuming cellphone like this. This device has an estimated 199 hs stand by time and a 5.8 hs talk time according to PCD.
This cellphone is very overvalued considering it is priced 80 dollars, while some similar phones can be found for much less money.
