Samsung Star is a not very powerful phone launched some years ago, in 2009, having a 3.2 megapixels back facing camera and a compact 3 inches touch-screen.
The Samsung Star is 4.09 inches long, but it is only able to pack a way smaller 3" display. It appears that Samsung didn't care so much about the weight in this 3.25 oz phone.
This phone counts with a 51,2 MB internal storage memory, a poor amount that could be adequate for basic users knowing that it also has an external SD slot to store photos and videos and even some games and apps that allow being installed in the external memory.
Samsung packed the Samsung Star with a nice 3 inches display, and a 400 x 240 resolution, providing this phone with a nice graphical experience. Its display uses TFT resistive technology, but it's not multi-touch.
This cellphone is equipped with only a 3.2 megapixels back facing camera. It also shoots videos in 320x240 (QVGA) at 15 frames per second. The camera also counts with smile detection shooting.
The Samsung Star offers 3G connection type, over EDGE technologies. The Samsung Star works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
The Samsung Star also comes with a couple useful features such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories) and Radio, and Accelerometer.
This cellphone uses a poor capacity 1000 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite low for a cellphone like this. Samsung afirms this cellphone has a 10 hs talk time and a 800 hours stand by time.
Samsung offers this cellphone for 80 dollars, which is a very high price for this kind of device.
