ZTE Axon Lux Review

ZTE Axon Lux is a high-end Android phone released back in 2015, having an enormous 5.5 inches multi touch screen, an extremely powerful processor clocking at 2000 megahertz, and two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back camera and an 8 mega-pixels front side camera.

ZTE decided to power this device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 chip, holding an extremely powerful 2000 MHz processing unit and a big 4 GB RAM. The ZTE Axon Lux comes with a 128 GB impressive internal memory and whereas it doesn't count with an SD extension slot, it is still enough to store lots of apps, games, songs, pictures and videos without thinking about running out of space at all.

This phone is quite a compact device, taking into account that it packs a 5.5" display and it is only 0" long. Regarding its materials quality, the ZTE Axon Lux is manufactured with aluminum; plastic. ZTE sells this cellphone in three colors, gray, blue and gold.

This cellphone has an astonishing 5.5" screen with a 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD / 2K) resolution, providing this cellphone with an amazing graphical experience. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone provides WiFi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high speed connection type and fast 3G data connection, using HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The ZTE Axon Lux uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone has two cameras, a 13 megapixels back side camera and an 8 megapixels front side camera. It is capable of filming 3840x2160 4K videos at 30 frames per second. This phone also has a couple of useful features: flash, auto-focus, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

This cellphone also features a couple interesting features such as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth phones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone has a huge 3000 mAh non-removable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with an incredible battery duration. According to ZTE, this device has an aproximate 240 hours stand by time and a 12 hours talk time. An issue to evaluate is that this phone's battery is non-replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to lose its charge, though having 3000 mAh you will probably discard this cellphone before it becomes a real problem.

This cellphone is probably a bit overvalued considering it is sold for 249 dollars, while many similar devices cost less than that. This cellphone is a very good choice no matter if you are looking for a cellphone for work, want this device mainly for internet broswing and social networks, need a device for playing games or you love taking photos.
