ZTE Fury Review

ZTE Fury is a mid level Android phone launched some years ago, in 2012, including a medium sized 3.5-inches display, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a great performance 1 GHz processing unit.

This phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8655 system chip, including a fast 1000 MHz processing unit and 512 MB RAM. This phone has a medium 4 GB internal storage, which is enough for the vast majority of users knowing that it also has an SD memory slot to store songs, photos and videos.

It appears that ZTE forgot about weight optimization in this 4.94 oz device. Though this cellphone is 4.65" long and 2.46 inches wide, it only comes with a way smaller 3.5" screen. ZTE is offering this cellphone in color black.

This phone is equipped with a nice 480 x 320 3.5" screen, making everything look good. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The ZTE Fury includes wi-fi connection (and it can be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G connectivity, using EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled cellphone and it can work with CDMA networks.

This device has only a 5 MP back facing camera. Additionally, the camera includes some useful features like auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This phone also features a few cool features as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Navigation, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone counts with a 1500 mAh medium Li-Ion battery providing the ZTE Fury with a poor battery life. ZTE claims this device has a 8 hs talk time and a 187 hs stand by time.
