ZTE Overture 2 is a mid level device, provisioned with a medium 4.5 inches multi touch capacitive screen, a powerful CPU clocking at 1200 megahertz, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. Is that all? No, it's just the starting point of this extreme review.
Being just 0.39 inches thick,this cellphone is very slim and good-looking. ZTE has made a really good design job making the ZTE Overture 2 weight just 4.71 ounces.
ZTE decided to power this cellphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 system chip, including a fast 1.2 gigahertz CPU with 1 GB RAM memory. A good advantage of this phone is its quite big 8 GB internal storage memory and an external SD slot, which allows the user to store hundreds of apps without running out of space.
The ZTE Overture 2 is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. It can also capture videos up to 1280x720 (HD). To complete the camera, it also has a couple of nice features: flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.
The ZTE Overture 2 has a nice 4.5-inches screen with a 854 x 480 resolution, making everything look colorful and brightful. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
This device features Wi-Fi connection (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a router or modem), LTE 4G high speed internet connection and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.
The ZTE Overture 2 has a 2100 mAh big capacity Li - Ion non-removable battery that provides this cellphone a quite long battery duration. ZTE says this phone has a talk time of 10 hours and a stand by time of 360 hours. An issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery isn't removable so you can't change it when it begins to lose its charge, even though having 2100 mAh you will probably replace this phone before it happens.
The ZTE Overture 2 also features a couple of useful features as Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone costs $ 249, not cheap for this kind of phone.
