ZTE Sonata 4G Review

ZTE Sonata 4G is a decent quality Android cellphone, provisioned with a high-tech Dual-Core CPU running at 1400 MHz, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a medium 4-inches touch-screen. We will get a better understanding of this device's advantages when we get into more details.

This phone's thickness (0.45") is a little bit far from today's standards, but it still feels comfortable in the hand. ZTE just sells the ZTE Sonata 4G in color white. This phone isn't very light comparing to other phones , weighting 5.2 oz.

ZTE packed this phone with a good level 4 inches display, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes all pictures and videos look very good. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This phone ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 system chip, which holds a high performance 1400 MHz Dual-Core processing unit with only 1 GB RAM which is a bit poor comparing with this cellphone's powerful processing power. Graphic intensive games and applications often eats lots of processing power, so it also counts with a 450 megahertz Adreno 305 graphic processing unit to help handle those graphic tasks.

This cellphone has only a 5 megapixels back facing camera. Additionally, this phone's camera also features flash.

This device uses a medium capacity 1785 mAh removable battery providing this cellphone with a poor battery duration. According to ZTE, the ZTE Sonata 4G has an estimated stand by time of 312 hs and a talk time of 5 hs.

The ZTE Sonata 4G provides Wi-Fi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a hotspot). This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

The ZTE Sonata 4G also includes a few interesting features such as Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The ZTE Sonata 4G is very overvalued considering it is offerred for $ 159, and many similar devices are being sold for much less than that.
