Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is an amazing Android tablet launched in 2014, packed with a good size 7-inches multi-touch screen, a powerful Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1.2 GHz, a 3 MP back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front side camera.

Samsung offers this device in 2 different color options: black and white. It seems like Samsung didn't care about the weight in this 9.74 oz tablet. While this tablet is only 7.36" long, it is able to fit a a 7" screen. Being just 0.35" thick,the Tab 4 7.0 is very thin and practical.

The Tab 4 7.0 includes a very good 7 inches display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look beautiful. Its display uses LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This tablet is equipped with a great performance 1200 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit, included in the Marvell PXA1088 chip with a great 1,5 GB RAM memory. A good feature of the Tab 4 7.0 is the 8 GB quite big internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, allowing the user to install hundreds of apps without running out of space.

The Tab 4 7.0 features wi-fi connection (which can be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high speed connectivity and also HSPA+ connectivity, that is a lower speed 4G variation and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Tab 4 7.0 uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The Tab 4 7.0 is equipped with two cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. It can also capture videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera has geo tagging.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a 4000 mAh great non-replaceable battery that provides the Tab 4 7.0 a great battery life. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery isn't removable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to live shorter, although having 4000 mAh you will probably buy a new portable tablet before that happens.

This device also features a couple of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and Accelerometer.

The Tab 4 7.0 is priced around $ 180, quite a high price for comparing with similar tablets.
