BlackBerry Curve 9360 Review

Score: 45.9 / 100

BlackBerry Curve 9360 is a mid-end BlackBerry cellphone launched many years ago, packed with a great performance CPU running at 800 megahertz, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2.4-inches screen.

This cellphone is 4.29" long, it just packs a way smaller 2.4" screen. The BlackBerry Curve 9360's thickness (0.43") is quite far from current standards, but it still feels quite comfortable in the hand. Blackberry made a very nice design job making this cellphone weight only 3.49 ounces.

Blackberry designed this cellphone with a good looking 2.4-inches display, and a 360 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look colorful and brightful.

This phone is powered by a great performance processing unit ticking at 800 MHz and 512 MB of RAM memory. Graphic calculations usually uses lots of CPU time, so the BlackBerry Curve 9360 also counts with a 320 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP1 GPU to help handle those graphic tasks. This phone has a 524,29 MB internal memory, a poor quantity that may be enough for some basic users knowing that this cellphone also has a slot for SD memory cards to store songs, photographs and videos and even some games and apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

This device offers WiFi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G connectivity, using UMTS and EDGE technologies. The BlackBerry Curve 9360 uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 5 MP back camera. This cellphone also shoots videos in VGA 640x480. This phone also features some useful features like flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 comes with a small sized 1000 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this device with a not very long battery life. Blackberry reports a stand by time of 348 hs and a talk time of 5 hours for this phone.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 also features a great numbre of interesting characteristics such as NFC, Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS Localization and Radio, and Light Sensor.

Blackberry is selling this device for $ 90, which is high for comparing with similar phones.
