BlackBerry Curve 9370 Review

Score: 45.7 / 100

BlackBerry Curve 9370 is a bit outdated phone launched some years ago, in 2011, including a good 800 megahertz processor, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 2.4 inches display.

This phone's thickness of 0.43" is a bit far from today's standards, but it still feels in the user's hand. Though this cellphone is as big as 4.29 inches long, it only contains a way smaller 2.4" display. This phone is much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone of this size.

Blackberry equipped the BlackBerry Curve 9370 with a good looking 2.4 inches display, and a 360 x 480 resolution, giving this cellphone a very nice image quality.

Blackberry sells this cellphone with a good processor speeding at 800 megahertz and 512 MB RAM. This device counts with a 1 GB internal storage, a poor amount that may be adequate for some basic users knowing that the BlackBerry Curve 9370 also has a slot for an external memory card to store songs, photos and videos and even some applications that allow being installed in the external memory.

This device is equipped with only a 5 megapixels back-facing camera. It also captures 640x480 VGA videos. This camera also counts with a few interesting characteristics: digital image stabilization, flash, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

This cellphone has a poor capacity 1000 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep this phone running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate usage. This cellphone has an estimated stand by time of 348 hours and a talk time of 5.5 hs.

This phone provides Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a hotspot) and 3G internet connection, over EV-DO A and EDGE technologies. The BlackBerry Curve 9370 works with a SIM card for GSM networks and it can use both CDMA and GSM.

This phone also includes some useful characteristics such as NFC, Bluetooth (provides communication with other cellphones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and Light Sensor.

This cellphone costs 215 dollars, high for this type of phone.
