BLU Studio 5.0 C Review

BLU Studio 5.0 C is a not so powerful phone, packed with a very powerful Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1.3 gigahertz, a comfortable 5" multi touch display, and two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera. But let's get into more details.

This phone ships with a high performance 1.3 GHz Dual-Core CPU, included in the MediaTek MT6572 system chip with only 512 MB RAM memory which is a bit low for a cellphone this good. To handle graphic calculations, it also uses an ARM Mali-400 graphics processing unit speeding at 500 MHz. This cellphone has a medium 4 GB internal memory, which is adequate for the average user considering that this cellphone also has an external memory card slot .

This phone isn't very light for a phone of this size, with a weight of 6 oz. This device is for sale in lots of color variations like black, pink, orange, yellow, blue and white. The BLU Studio 5.0 C has an amazing design, with a thickness of just 0.38". The BLU Studio 5.0 C is only 5.71" long, but it's able to fit a a 5" screen.

This device has an average 5" screen with a 854 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look good. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. It can also shoot videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera features some nice features like flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.

This phone has wifi capability (which can be shared with other devices acting as a wireless router), HSPA+ 4G data connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The BLU Studio 5.0 C has dual sim so it's able to work with 2 different phone lines or carriers in the same phone.

This cellphone uses a medium 1800 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this cellphone with a below average battery duration. BLU afirms this device has a talk time of 23 hs and a stand by time of 850 hours.

This phone also comes with some interesting features as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is not very cheap considering it is offerred for 85 dollars, and other similar phones are a lot cheaper than that.
