BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE Review

BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE is a pretty good Android phone, including an extremely powerful Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1200 MHz, a big 5-inches multi touch screen, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front-facing camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's just the shortest summary in history.

The BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE comes with a high speed Quad-Core processor ticking at 1.2 gigahertz, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little disappointing considering its awesome CPU. Graphic calculations usually eats a lot of processing power, so this phone also has an additional 450 MHz Adreno 305 GPU to help handle those graphic tasks. A nice advantage of this cellphone is its quite big 8 GB internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred applications without any problem.

This cellphone is only 5.74" long and 2.83 inches wide, but it still manages to hold a 5" display. This cellphone is just 0.35 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest phones nowadays. This cellphone doesn't feel very lightweight comparing with today standards, weighting 5.78 ounces. BLU sells this phone in 2 different color options, black and white.

The BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE features two cameras, a 13 megapixels back-facing camera and a 5 MP front side camera. It can also film 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera includes a few interesting characteristics like auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

BLU designed this cellphone with a good looking 5" screen, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, providing this cellphone with a detailed graphic quality. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone comes with an inmense 2200 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you may need to charge it if you use it too much. BLU claims this device has a 650 hours stand by time and a 22 hs talk time.

This device has WiFi capability (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a wireless modem), 4G LTE high speed connection and also HSPA+ connection type, that is a lower speed 4G network and fast 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE uses a Micro SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone also comes with a few nice features as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

BLU sells the BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE for $ 139, which is high for a phone this level. If you are looking for a social cellphone, this cellphone is the right one .
