Celkon Q44 Review

Celkon Q44 is a decent phone, provisioned with a medium sized 4 inches multi touch screen, a high speed 1300 megahertz Quad-Core CPU, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

The Celkon Q44 is just 0.37" thick, taking it to the thinnest device's category. Apparently Celkon decided not to care much about the weight in this 4.71 oz cellphone. Celkon sells the Celkon Q44 in 2 different colors, gray and gold.

The Celkon Q44 ships with a high speed 1300 megahertz Quad-Core processor with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little poor for such a good cellphone. This cellphone comes with aquite big 8 GB internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing the user to store hundreds of apps without running out of space.

The Celkon Q44 features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Celkon equipped this phone with a interesting 4" display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , providing this phone with a detailed graphic quality. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The Celkon Q44 provides wifi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and 3G internet connection, supported by EDGE technologies. This phone has dual sim to be able to to use two different phone numbers.

The Celkon Q44 also includes some cool features like Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Celkon Q44 uses a 1500 mAh medium sized Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. Celkon informs a talk time of 5 hours and a stand by time of 140 hours for this phone.

This phone is priced $ 249, which is a high price for this type of phone.
