GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M2 Review

GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M2 is a decent quality Android phone, counting with a comfortable 5-inches multi touch capacitive display, an extremely fast 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor, and 2 cameras, a 13 MP back-facing camera and a 5 megapixels front-facing camera. That's everything we have to say? No, it's only the beginning of a detailed review.

Gigabyte decided to power this device with an extremely powerful 1300 megahertz Quad-Core processor, packed into the Mediatek MT6582 chip with only 1 GB RAM which is a little bit poor for such a great cellphone. Helping with graphic calculations, it also counts with an ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphic processing unit running at 416 megahertz. This phone comes with an 8 GB quite big internal storage memory and a slot for an external memory card, which allows the user to install a couple hundred games and applications without any problem.

The GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M2 is much lighter than what you expect from a device this size. The GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M2 has a beautiful design, with a thickness of just 0.33". Although this cellphone only has 5.71 inches long and 2.87" wide, it manages to pack a 5" screen.

The GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M2 is equipped with two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 5 megapixels front side camera. The camera also includes some good characteristics like flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.

Gigabyte packed the GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M2 with a nice 5 inches screen, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, providing this cellphone with a good level image quality. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone has a 2000 mAh medium Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. According to Gigabyte, this phone has an aproximate stand by time of 300 hours and a talk time of 8 hours.

This cellphone features wi-fi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ connectivity, which is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone has two SIM cards to be able to to work with 2 different phone numbers and even different carriers at the same time.

This cellphone also comes with a few nice characteristics like Bluetooth, GPS Geolocation and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone costs 249 dollars, which is not cheap for this kind of phone.
