HTC ships the HTC 7 Pro CDMA with a great performance 1 gigahertz CPU, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8650 chip and 576 MB RAM memory. A good point of the HTC 7 Pro CDMA is its big 16 GB internal storage memory and even though it doesn't include an SD memory slot, it should be enough to store hundreds of games and apps, although it may not be enough if you are planning to install a couple of the largest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.
This phone is a bit thick for current standards, being as thick as 0.61 inches. In this case, HTC forgot about optimizing the weight, releasing it with a 6.53 oz weight.
The HTC 7 Pro CDMA is equipped with a good level 800 x 480 3.6" display, giving this phone a very good graphical experience. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
This cellphone is equipped with only a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. It also films videos in HD 1280x720. This camera also counts with flash.
This phone includes WiFi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and 3G connection type, over EV-DO A technologies. The HTC 7 Pro CDMA doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM enabled phone and it works with CDMA networks.
This device uses a mid sized 1500 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate use. HTC reports a talk time of 4.8 hs and a stand by time of 360 hours for this device.
This phone also includes some useful characteristics such as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The HTC 7 Pro CDMA costs about $ 200, not a good offer for a device this level.
