HTC Desire 400 Review

HTC Desire 400 is a pretty good device, having a good performance Dual-Core processing unit running at 1 gigahertz, a 4.3" multi-touch screen, and two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 1.6 megapixels front side camera. That's all? No, it's only the introduction.

HTC has made an amazing design job making the HTC Desire 400 weight just 4.23 ounces. This phone is extremely thin and good-looking, with a thickness of just 0.35 inches.

This phone includes a good looking 800 x 480 4.3-inches display, providing this phone with a good image quality. This display uses S-LCD 2 capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The HTC Desire 400 is powered by a great performance 1 gigahertz Dual-Core processor with 1 GB of RAM memory. This phone comes with a passable 4 GB internal memory, which is fine knowing that it also has an SD extension slot .

This phone features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.6 megapixels front side camera. this cellphone's back side camera lens has an aperture of f/2 so it can take beautiful photographs even in low lighting environments. It is capable of capturing HD 1280x720 videos. To complete the camera, it also counts with a few good features like flash, auto-focus, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone has wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Desire 400 comes with two Micro SIM cards so it is able to use two different carriers or phone lines in the same device.

This phone counts with a medium capacity 1800 mAh Li-Polymer battery, which is quite poor for a cellphone like this. This device has an aproximate 384 hours stand by time and a 10 hs talk time.

This device also comes with a couple of cool features like Bluetooth (provides communication with other cellphones and accessories), GPS Navigation and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is really expensive considering it is sold for $ 249, and many similar cellphones cost much less than that. This phone is a great option if you will use it mostly for social networks.
