Motorola Droid X2 Review

Motorola Droid X2 is an interesting phone released back in 2011, including a 1 gigahertz Dual-Core processor, a medium 4.3" multi touch screen and an 8 megapixels back facing camera.

This cellphone is just 0.39" thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones in the market. The Motorola Droid X2 feels a bit heavy comparing to other phones , with a weight of 5.47 ounces.

This cellphone comes with a NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip, including a good performance 1000 MHz Dual-Core processing unit with 512 MB of RAM. An interesting aspect of this phone is its 8 GB quite big internal memory and an external memory slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred games and apps without any problem.

This phone only features an 8 mega-pixels back camera. It also captures videos in HD 1280x720 at 30 fps. This phone also features auto-focus and flash.

This phone has a interesting 960 x 540 4.3" display, providing this cellphone with a very nice graphic quality.

The Motorola Droid X2 features a 1540 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. According to Motorola, this cellphone has an aproximate stand by time of 220 hours and a talk time of 8 hours.

This phone offers WiFi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices acting as a router or modem) and 3G data connection, over EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM device and it can work with CDMA networks.

This cellphone also features a handful of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is really overvalued considering it is sold for $ 99, while many similar phones are being sold for much less than that. If you will use it mostly for social networks and internet browsing, you will probably love this phone.
