Nokia Lumia 630 Review

Nokia Lumia 630 is a solid cellphone launched some years ago, in 2014, equipped with a very fast 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, a medium 4.5-inches capacitive display and a 5 MP back camera.

Nokia appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.73 ounces phone. Being just 0.36 inches thick,this cellphone is very thin and stilized. This cellphone only has 5.1" long, but it is able to fit a a 4.5 inches display. The Lumia 630 is offerred in a variety of color variations like black, yellow, green and white.

Nokia decided to equip this cellphone with an extremely fast 1200 MHz Quad-Core CPU, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip and only 512 MB of RAM which is a bit poor considering its awesome processing power. Helping with graphic intensive applications and games, it also counts with an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit working at 450 megahertz. The Lumia 630 counts with an interesting 8 GB internal memory and an SD memory slot, enough to install hundreds of apps without any problem.

This phone has only a 5 megapixels back facing camera. It is capable of capturing 1280x720 HD videos at 30 frames per second. The camera also features geo tagging and auto-focus.

Nokia equipped this phone with a interesting 4.5-inches screen, and a 854 x 480 resolution, making everything look beautiful. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone features Wi-Fi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, which is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM connection.

This cellphone also includes a few useful features such as Bluetooth, GPS and Radio, and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

The Nokia Lumia 630 comes with a good 1830 mAh replaceable battery that can keep this phone running for some hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage. Nokia reports a talk time of 16.4 hours and a stand by time of 600 hours for this device.

This phone is not very cheap considering it is offerred for 140 dollars, while some similar devices can be found for much less money. No matter if you are looking for a device for gaming or will use it as a social phone, you will probably be very satisfied with it.
