Nokia Lumia 930 Review

Nokia Lumia 930 is a complete cellphone launched some years ago, in 2014, provisioned with a high performance 2200 MHz Quad-Core CPU, a 5" touch-screen, and 2 cameras, a 20 megapixels back side camera and a 1.2 megapixels front facing camera.

Nokia made the Lumia 930available only in many colors: black, orange, green and white. This cellphone has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.39 inches. Whereas the Nokia Lumia 930 is just 5.39" long, it is able to fit a a 5 inches display. Apparently Nokia decided not to care much about the weight in this 5.89 oz cellphone.

The Lumia 930 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8974-AA chip, packing an extremely powerful 2200 megahertz Quad-Core CPU and a great 2 GB RAM. Handling graphic rendering, it also uses an Adreno 330 graphic processing unit working at 450 megahertz. The Lumia 930 counts with a 32 GB excellent internal memory and though it doesn't come with an SD card slot, it it is more than enough to install hundreds of applications and even the largest games available nowadays without worrying about filling it.

Nokia equipped this cellphone with an astonishing 5-inches display, and a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, which makes it impossible to even see the pixels that compose the display. This display uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 20 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front facing camera. This cellphone can also capture 4K 3840x2160 videos at 24 fps, and 1920x1080 Full HD slow motion videos up to 30 fps (1 times slower than normal videos). In addition, this phone's camera also features a high number of interesting features like flash, auto-focus, optical image stabilization, fast burst mode, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This device includes Wi-Fi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high performance data connection and also HSPA+ data connection, which is a bit slower 4G network and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Nano SIM card to use GSM services.

This device also comes with lots of useful characteristics as Wireless charging compatibility, NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (4.0), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone packs a big 2420 mAh non-replaceable battery that provides this cellphone an amazing battery duration. Nokia claims this phone has a talk time of 11.5 hs and a stand by time of 552 hs. An issue to evaluate is that this phone's battery isn't replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to lose capacity, while with such a huge battery size you will probably replace this phone before it becomes a real problem.

The Lumia 930 costs around $ 208, not very cheap for comparing with other similar phones.
