Nokia N95 8GB US Review

Nokia N95 8GB US is an outdated cellphone launched some years ago, in 2008, packed with a 5 MP back facing camera and a little 2.8 inches screen.

This time, Nokia didn't care about the weight at all, releasing it with a 4.51 oz weight. This cellphone isn't a compact cellphone, taking into account that it is 3.89" long,but it just holds a 2.8 inches screen. The Nokia N95 8GB US is a little thick for nowadays standards, with a thickness of 0.82".

Nokia equipped this phone with a nice 2.8 inches display, and a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA), giving this cellphone a decent image quality.

This device counts with an interesting 8 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't count with an external memory card slot, it should be enough to store hundreds of apps and games, although it probably wouldn't be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available or taking tons of photos and videos.

The Nokia N95 8GB US offers wifi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone only features a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera. Its back-facing camera lens has a 2.8 aperture so it struggles to take good pictures in low-light situations. It is capable of filming videos in 640x480 (VGA) at 30 frames per second. This camera also features digital image stabilization and flash.

The Nokia N95 8GB US features a poor 1200 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite poor for a thirsty phone like this. According to Nokia, the Nokia N95 8GB US has a reported talk time of 5 hours and a stand by time of 278 hours.

The Nokia N95 8GB US also features a few nice characteristics such as Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth (2.0) and GPS Geolocation, and Accelerometer.

This cellphone is priced 95 dollars, which is high for a phone this level.
