OPPO 3000 Review

Score: 56.2 / 100

OPPO 3000 is a mid-end cellphone, counting with a 4.7" multi-touch screen, a very powerful Quad-Core processing unit running at 1.4 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front facing camera.

This cellphone ships with an extremely powerful 1.4 GHz Quad-Core processor, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit disappointing for such a solid device. Collaborating with graphic intensive games and apps, this cellphone also uses an Adreno 306 graphic processing unit running at 450 MHz. The OPPO 3000 counts with an 8 GB interesting internal storage memory and an external memory card slot, allowing you to install hundreds of applications and games without any problem.

Oppo made a great job making the OPPO 3000 weight only 4.44 ounces. This device is just 0.35" thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones you can find. Whereas this cellphone is just 5.42" long and 2.71 inches wide, it manages to contain a 4.7 inches screen.

Oppo designed the OPPO 3000 with an absolutely amazing 4.7 inches display, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, giving this device a unique graphic quality. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, with a brightness of 500 candela/m2 and has multi-touch detection.

The OPPO 3000 has Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a modem), 4G (LTE) high speed connectivity and 3G fast data connection, using HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The OPPO 3000 has dual sim cards so it's able to work with 2 different carriers or phone lines in the same phone.

This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 5 megapixels front-facing camera. Its back-facing camera lens has a maximum F2 aperture so it can take detailed pictures even in dark conditions. This camera also counts with a few useful characteristics: flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.

This device also includes some nice features as NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device counts with a 2000 mAh medium capacity removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours, but you may need to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage.

Oppo sells this phone for 350 dollars, which is a high price for comparing with other similar cellphones. It doesn't matter whether you want a phone to play games or will use it as a social cellphone, you will definitely love this phone.
