Samsung Galaxy Pocket Duos Review

Samsung Galaxy Pocket Duos is a decent quality cellphone, with a 2 mega-pixels back facing camera, a good 832 megahertz CPU and a 2.8" multi touch display.

This cellphone ships with a quite powerful 832 megahertz processor. This cellphone counts with a 3 GB internal storage, a reasonable amount that should be having that it also has a slot for external memory cards to store songs, photographs and videos and even some apps and games that can be installed in the external memory.

The Pocket Duos is quite thick for today's standards, being as thick as 0.51". The Pocket Duos is 4.09" long, it just packs a way smaller 2.8" screen. It appears that Samsung decided not to care so much about the weight in this 3.63 ounces cellphone.

This cellphone has only a 2 megapixels back-facing camera. It is capable of shooting videos up to 320x240 (QVGA) at 15 fps. This camera also includes geo tagging and smile detection shooting.

Samsung equipped the Pocket Duos with a good level 2.8" screen, and a 320 x 240 (QVGA) resolution, giving this device a good image quality. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone features Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G connection type, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Pocket Duos uses two SIM cards so it can to work with 2 different phone numbers and even different carriers.

This cellphone counts with a low capacity 1200 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides this device a not very long battery lifecompared to other devices. According to Samsung, this cellphone has an estimated stand by time of 410 hours and a talk time of 15.3 hours.

The Pocket Duos also features some cool features as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and a few sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device is really overpriced considering it costs $ 99, and some similar cellphones are offerred way cheaper than that.
