Sharp AQUOS Crystal is a not so powerful Android cellphone, which counts with a high-tech Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz, a quite big 5 inches screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's just the introduction.
The Sharp AQUOS Crystal is just 0.39 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest phones on sale. Though the Sharp AQUOS Crystal is only 5.16" long and 2.64" wide, it's still able to fit a a 5 inches screen. Apparently Sharp didn't care so much about the weight in this 4.97 oz device. Sharp is offering this phone in lots of color options like black, pink, blue and white.
Sharp decided to sell this phone with a great 1200 megahertz Quad-Core CPU, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 8926 system chip and a large 1,5 GB of RAM memory. Handling graphic calculations, it also counts with an Adreno 305 GPU ticking at 450 MHz. This cellphone comes with a quite large 8 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards, which allows the user to install a couple hundred games and apps without worrying about space.
The Sharp AQUOS Crystal has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front side camera. It is capable of filming videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. This device also features a lot of useful features: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting, HDR mode and geo tagging.
Sharp designed this phone with a nice 5" display, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, providing this phone with a very good image quality. Its display uses LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
This cellphone includes Wi-Fi capability (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and LTE (4G) high speed connection type. This device doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks and it works with CDMA networks.
This phone also comes with a few interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Localization, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone has a high capacity 2040 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery providing the Sharp AQUOS Crystal a quite short battery duration. A big issue to evaluate is that this cellphone's battery isn't removable so you can't change it when it starts losing capacity, having to buy a new cellphone to "solve it" or maybe take the device to an expert who can disassemble it and switch its battery.
This phone costs $ 150, high for this kind of cellphone. If you are looking for a social device, this cellphone is the right choice for you.
