Asus Transformer Pad Review

Asus Transformer Pad is a decent quality Android tablet, including a very fast Dual-Core CPU running at 1.86 GHz, a large 10.1-inches touch-screen, and two cameras, a 2 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.

Asus did an amazing design job making this tablet as lightweight as 19.4 oz. The Asus Transformer Pad is a compact tablet device, considering it features a 10.1 inches screen and it only has 10.14" long and 7.02 inches wide. The Asus Transformer Pad is extremely thin, being just 0.39" thick.

Asus equipped this tablet with an average 10.1 inches screen, and a 800 x 1280 resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look quite good. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

Asus decided to power the Asus Transformer Pad using a Intel Atom Z3745 chip, including an extremely powerful 1860 MHz Dual-Core CPU and only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit low for such a solid portable tablet. The Asus Transformer Pad comes with an interesting 8 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, enough to store a couple hundred apps and games without worrying about space.

The Asus Transformer Pad provides wi-fi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot). This device doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM services.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 2 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera.

The Asus Transformer Pad also comes with a handful of useful characteristics such as Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth tablets, computers and accessories) and GPS, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Asus Transformer Pad is not a very good choice considering it is offerred for 539 dollars, and some similar tablets are a lot cheaper than that.
