ViewSonic ViewPad E100 is a low-end Android portable tablet released in February 2012, with a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera, a good performance processing unit running at 1 gigahertz and a 9.7 inches multi-touch capacitive display.
This tablet is just available in color black. This tablet is just 0.36 inches thick, making its way into the thinnest tablets podium. This tablet is only 9.53" long, but it's able to fit a a 9.7" screen. Viewsonic appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 21.52 ounces tablet.
This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
Viewsonic ships the ViewSonic ViewPad E100 with a powerful 1000 megahertz CPU with 1 GB of RAM memory. This tablet has a 4 GB internal storage memory, a common quantity that should be enough considering that the ViewSonic ViewPad E100 also has an external memory card slot to store photos and videos.
This tablet includes WiFi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot). This tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM device.
This device is only equipped with a 1.3 MP front side camera.
The ViewSonic ViewPad E100 also comes with some useful features as Bluetooth (for communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Localization, and Accelerometer.
This tablet comes with a great 2700 mAh non-removable battery that can keep this tablet device running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it at all. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to lose capacity, although with so much capacity you will probably replace this tablet before it becomes a real problem.
