Acer Liquid E2 Review

Acer Liquid E2 is a nice cellphone launched back in 2013, which counts with a 4.5 inches multi touch capacitive screen, a high-tech 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processing unit, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera.

Although the Acer Liquid E2 is only 5.16 inches long and 2.68" wide, it still manages to contain a 4.5 inches display. This cellphone is just 0.39" thick, making its way into the thinnest devices podium. Acer appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.94 ounces cellphone. This phone is offerred in 2 color options, black and white.

Acer decided to equip the Acer Liquid E2 using an extremely fast 1200 MHz Quad-Core processing unit, bundled in a MediaTek MT6589 system chip with only 1 GB RAM which is a little low for a phone this good. To handle graphic calculations, it also uses a PowerVR SGX544 graphic processing unit running at 200 MHz. This phone comes with areasonable 4 GB internal storage memory, which is fine having that the Acer Liquid E2 also has an SD memory card expansion slot to store pictures and videos and even some games and apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

This phone has a good level 4.5-inches display with a 960 x 540 resolution, which makes all pictures and videos look very nice. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This device has WiFi capability (and it can provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Acer Liquid E2 uses two SIM cards so it's able to work with 2 different carriers or phone numbers at the same time.

This device features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front side camera. This phone also captures videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also features a few useful features like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.

The Acer Liquid E2 uses a medium capacity 2000 mAh Li-Ion removable battery providing this phone with a quite short battery duration. Acer says this cellphone has a stand by time of 450 hs and a talk time of 9 hours.

This phone also includes a few useful features such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers, and accessories), GPS (Global Positioning System) and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is very overpriced considering it is sold for $ 249, while other similar devices cost much less than that. This device is the correct choice no matter whether you want a gamer cellphone or will use it majorly for social networks.
