BLU Studio X is a decent phone, packed with a good size 5 inches display, a great 1300 MHz Quad-Core CPU, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2 megapixels front side camera.
BLU decided to power the BLU Studio X using a very powerful 1300 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit poor considering its powerful CPU. To collaborate with graphic rendering, it also uses a 500 MHz ARM Mali-400 GPU. This phone comes with anice 8 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot, which allows the user to install a couple hundred applications without any problem.
This device is just 5.67 inches long, but it is able to fit a a 5" display. Whereas this cellphone is quite thin and comfortable it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones in the market, with a thickness of 0.41". BLU sells the BLU Studio X in a nice range of color options: black, pink, blue, white and gold. BLU has made an excellent job making this phone weight only 5.43 oz.
This phone includes a good looking 5" screen with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes everything look very nice. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This cellphone has two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 2 MP front side camera. The BLU Studio X can also film videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second. This camera also has a few interesting features: flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.
The BLU Studio X offers WiFi capability (which it can share with other devices acting as a wireless router or modem). This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM services.
This phone also includes a couple of nice features such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device counts with a 2100 mAh incredible Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep this cellphone running for several hours, although you may find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it too much. BLU afirms this cellphone has a 25 hours talk time and a 750 hours stand by time.
BLU offers this phone for 110 dollars, which is very expensive for this type of cellphone.
