GIGABYTE GSmart Tuku T2 Review

GIGABYTE GSmart Tuku T2 is a decent cellphone, packing a 4 inches multi touch screen, a Dual-Core processor speeding at 1 GHz, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. But it's time to get into some more detail.

This phone is sold in a wide range of color options, black, orange, green, blue and white. This phone is very thin and looks really nice, while it's not so slim as many other phones on sale, with a thickness of 0.46 inches. Gigabyte didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.41 ounces phone.

Gigabyte ships this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play MSM8225 chip, holding a fast 1000 MHz Dual-Core processor with 512 MB of RAM. Collaborating with graphic intensive applications, it also counts with a 245 MHz Adreno 203 graphic processing unit.

The GIGABYTE GSmart Tuku T2 is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. The camera also has flash.

Gigabyte equipped this phone with a good level 4 inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , providing this cellphone with a detailed graphical experience. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This phone provides wifi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connectivity, using HSPA and EDGE technologies. This device supports dual sim so it can to work with 2 different carriers or phone lines in the same phone.

The GIGABYTE GSmart Tuku T2 comes with a 1500 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite poor for a cellphone like this. This device has a reported 225 hs stand by time and a 7 hs talk time according to Gigabyte.

This cellphone also comes with a few nice features such as Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The GIGABYTE GSmart Tuku T2 is priced around $ 155, which is not cheap for this type of cellphone.
