HTC Desire C Review

HTC Desire C is a decently made Android device, with a medium 3.5" display, a good CPU clocking at 600 MHz and a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. Let's take a better look at what this phone offers to us.

Though the HTC Desire C is as big as 4.8" long, it only comes with a way smaller 3.5 inches display. HTC did an amazing job making the HTC Desire C as lightweight as 3.5 ounces.

This cellphone includes a nice 480 x 320 3.5 inches screen, which makes all photos and movies look good. This screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

HTC decided to equip this cellphone using a powerful processing unit clocking at 600 MHz, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7225A chip with 512 MB of RAM memory. Collaborating with graphic calculations, this cellphone also has a 200 megahertz Adreno 200 (enhanced) GPU. This phone comes with a fair 4 GB internal storage memory, which is adequate for the average user knowing that this cellphone also has a slot for external memory cards .

This phone only has a 5 MP back camera. Its back camera lens has a maximum f/2.8 aperture so it struggles to take sharp pictures in poorly lit environments. It is also able to capture videos in VGA 640x480. This cellphone also has geo tagging.

This cellphone packs a 1230 mAh medium sized Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides the HTC Desire C a below average battery lifecompared to other cellphones.

The HTC Desire C counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Desire C works with a SIM card for GSM services and it can use both CDMA and GSM carriers.

This phone also features a couple of interesting features such as Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth and GPS, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

HTC is selling the HTC Desire C for 90 dollars, which is a really high price for comparing with other similar cellphones.
