HTC EVO 3D is a nice Android cellphone released some years ago, in 2011, packed with a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, a 4.3-inches screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.3 MP front camera.
HTC forgot about weight optimization in this 6 ounces device, far heavier than other similar phones.
The HTC EVO 3D is equipped with a good level 4.3 inches screen with a 960 x 540 resolution, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels composing the screen. This screen uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
HTC decided to build this phone using a powerful 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8660 chip with 1 GB of RAM. Collaborating with graphic intensive games and applications, this cellphone also counts with a 266 MHz Adreno 220 graphics processing unit. This phone counts with a 1 GB internal memory, which may be adequate for some users considering it also has a slot for external memory cards to store photographs and videos.
This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front side camera. It is capable of shooting videos in 1280x720 (HD). This device also counts with some nice features like auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
This phone includes Wi-Fi connectivity (and it can share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and 3G internet connection, supported by EV-DO A technologies. This device doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks and it works with CDMA carriers.
The HTC EVO 3D also includes a few nice features such as Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
The HTC EVO 3D has a 1730 mAh medium sized Li-Ion replaceable battery providing the HTC EVO 3D with a below average battery life.
This cellphone is not very cheap considering it is priced $ 310, and other similar phones cost a lot less than that. In case want a social cellphone, this phone is probably a good choice for you.
