LG Optimus Pro Review

LG Optimus Pro is a mid-to-low level Android cellphone, featuring a small 2.8" touch-screen, a powerful CPU clocking at 800 MHz and a 3 megapixels back side camera.

LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.55 ounces device. The LG Optimus Pro isn't a compact cellphone, taking into account that it is 4.7" long and 2.35" wide,but it just contains a 2.8 inches screen. The LG Optimus Pro is a little thick for today's standards, with a thickness of 0.51".

This phone is equipped with a fast processing unit clocking at 800 MHz, bundled in a Qualcomm MSM7227T chip with just 256 MB RAM memory. This cellphone counts with a 153,6 MB internal storage memory, a small quantity that could be enough for basic users considering it also has an SD memory card expansion slot to store songs, pictures and videos.

LG designed the LG Optimus Pro with a nice 2.8" display, and a 320 x 240 (QVGA) resolution, which makes all images and movies look quite good. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone only features a 3 MP back facing camera. It is also able to film videos up to 640x480 (VGA) at 24 fps.

This phone counts with wi-fi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast internet connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

This cellphone also includes a handful of interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth, GPS Localization and Radio, and some sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The LG Optimus Pro features a medium capacity 1500 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this device with a quite short battery duration. According to LG, this phone has an estimated 100 hours stand by time and a 4 hours talk time.

LG is selling the LG Optimus Pro for 405 dollars, which is very expensive for this kind of cellphone.
