GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M3 Review

GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M3 is a decently made cellphone released back in 2014, coming with a Quad-Core processor clocking at 1300 MHz, a comfortable 5 inches multi touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back facing camera and an 8 MP front facing camera. Let's take a deeper look at what this device has to offer.

This cellphone has an inspired design, with a thickness of just 0.33". This cellphone is quite a compact cellphone, considering it features a 5 inches screen and it only has 5.67 inches long and 2.78" wide. This cellphone feels much lighter than what one would expect from a phone of this size.

Gigabyte equipped this cellphone with a good level 5 inches screen, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), providing this cellphone with a good graphical experience. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

Gigabyte equipped this cellphone with a Mediatek MT6582 chip, which holds an extremely powerful Quad-Core processor speeding at 1.3 GHz with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit poor for a cellphone this good. The GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M3 counts with a good 8 GB internal storage and an external SD slot, allowing you to install a couple hundred applications and games without any problem.

This cellphone offers WiFi capability (and it can share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ connection type, that is not as fast as LTE networks and 3G fast internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses 2 Micro SIM cards so it is able to work with 2 different phone lines or carriers.

The GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M3 features two cameras, a 13 MP back facing camera and an 8 MP front camera. To complete the camera, it also counts with some nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

This cellphone packs a mid sized 1900 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate usage. Gigabyte says this cellphone has a 4.5 hs talk time and a 150 hs stand by time.

This cellphone also features some interesting features as Bluetooth (3.0), GPS Localization and Radio, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

The GIGABYTE GSmart Mika M3 is really overvalued considering it is sold for $ 249, while many similar cellphones are being sold much cheaper than that.
