Micromax A87 NINJA 4.0 is a low-end cellphone, with a 2 megapixels back facing camera, a 4-inches touch-screen and a good performance processing unit ticking at 1000 MHz.
This cellphone's thickness , 0.46", is a bit far from nowadays standards, but it still feels quite fine in the hand.
The Micromax A87 NINJA 4.0 includes a very good 4" display with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes all images and movies look very nice. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
Micromax decided to build this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A chip, holding a fast processing unit running at 1000 MHz with just 256 MB RAM memory. Helping with graphic rendering, it also counts with a 128 megahertz Adreno 200 graphics processing unit. The Micromax A87 NINJA 4.0 comes with a 133,12 MB internal storage, which might be enough for basic users knowing that it also has an SD extension slot to store pictures and videos and even some apps and games that can be installed in the external memory.
This phone only features a 2 MP back facing camera.
The Micromax A87 NINJA 4.0 provides Wi-Fi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a wireless modem) and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone has dual sim cards to be able to to work with 2 different carriers or phone numbers.
