Motorola Cliq XT Review

Motorola Cliq XT is a decently made Android phone launched back in the year 2010, equipped with a powerful processor ticking at 528 MHz, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a small 3.1 inches touch-screen.

Motorola decided to power this phone with a Qualcomm MSM7200A chip, packing a fast processing unit clocking at 528 MHz and as little as 256 MB of RAM. This cellphone comes with a 262,14 MB internal storage, a mediocre amount that could be adequate for basic users knowing that it also has an SD memory slot to store photographs and videos.

The Motorola Cliq XT isn't a very compact phone, taking into consideration it is 4.59 inches long and 2.34 inches wide,but it only packs a 3.1" screen. Motorola didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.36 oz cellphone.

This phone only has a 5 MP back-facing camera. Additionally, the camera has flash.

Motorola packed the Motorola Cliq XT with an average 3.1-inches display, and a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes everything look good. This display uses TFT yes technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

This phone has a mid sized 1420 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a demanding cellphone like this. According to Motorola, the Motorola Cliq XT has an aproximate 500 hours stand by time and a 4.5 hs talk time.

This device offers WiFi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone also includes a couple of cool characteristics as Bluetooth (2.0) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is being sold for about $ 100, a really high price for this kind of cellphone.
