OPPO R819 is a fair quality Android phone, coming with a 4.7" multi-touch display, a high speed Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1.2 gigahertz, and two cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera.
Oppo has made an amazing job making this phone weight only 3.88 ounces. The OPPO R819 is just 0.29" thick, making its way into the thinnest cellphones podium. Though this phone only has 5.37 inches long and 2.68" wide, it's able to fit a a 4.7 inches screen. This phone is only for sale in color white.
This cellphone is powered by a great 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit, included in the MediaTek MT6589 system chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit disappointing comparing with its impressive processor. Graphic rendering generally eats a lot of processing power, so it counts with an additional PowerVR SGX544 GPU ticking at 384 MHz to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. A nice aspect of this phone is the 16 GB quite large internal storage memory and though it doesn't include an SD memory slot, it is enough to install hundreds of apps and games, but it may not be suitable if you are planning to install some of the largest games available nowadays or taking tons of photos and videos.
This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front side camera. This camera also features HDR mode and flash.
Oppo equipped this phone with a great 4.7" display, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), which makes all images and videos look amazing. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
This cellphone features a 2000 mAh medium capacity battery, which is not really enough for a consuming phone like this.
The OPPO R819 includes WiFi connection (although it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connectivity, over HSPA and EDGE technologies. The OPPO R819 uses 2 SIM cards so it's able to work with two different phone numbers.
The OPPO R819 also includes some interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices and accessories), GPS Navigation and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
This cellphone is really overvalued considering it is priced $ 155, and many similar cellphones are being sold much cheaper than that.
