Plum Trigger Pro Review

Score: 48 / 100

Plum Trigger Pro is a fair quality phone, coming with a medium sized 3.5-inches screen, a powerful Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1200 MHz, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera.

Plum decided to design this phone using a MediaTek MT6572M chip, holding a great performance Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1.2 gigahertz with 512 MB of RAM memory. Helping with graphic rendering, the Plum Trigger Pro also has an ARM Mali-400 GPU running at 500 megahertz. This cellphone comes with areasonable 4 GB internal storage, which is adequate for the average user knowing that the Plum Trigger Pro also has a slot for an external memory card .

This cellphone is available in lots of color options like black, blue, red and white. Apparently Plum didn't care much about the weight in this 3.77 ounces cellphone.

Plum packed the Plum Trigger Pro with an average 3.5-inches screen, and a resolution of 480 x 320 , providing this phone with a decent graphical experience. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The Plum Trigger Pro provides wi-fi capability (and it can be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G HSPA+ internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE networks and fast 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Plum Trigger Pro comes with 2 SIM cards so it's able to use 2 different phone numbers or carriers.

The Plum Trigger Pro is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera. This device also films 1280x720 HD videos at 30 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also has a lot of amazing features: flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus, smile detection shooting, HDR mode and geo tagging.

This cellphone also comes with a handful of cool features as Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone uses a mid capacity 1350 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a demanding device like this. This device has an aproximate 17 hs talk time and a 750 hs stand by time.

Plum is offering this device for 249 dollars, which is not a really offer for comparing with similar phones.
