Samsung Star WiFi is an outdated phone, which features a small 3-inches resistive display and a 3 MP back camera.
The Samsung Star WiFi counts with a 51,2 MB internal memory, a mediocre amount that might be adequate for some basic users knowing that it also has a slot for external memory cards to store songs, pictures and videos and even some games and apps that can be installed in the external memory.
Samsung didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 3.25 oz phone. Although this phone is as big as 4.09" long and 2.09 inches wide, it only contains a much smaller 3" screen.
This phone is equipped with an average 3 inches screen with a 400 x 240 resolution, providing this cellphone with a regular image quality. Its screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.
The Samsung Star WiFi is only equipped with a 3 megapixels back side camera. The Samsung Star WiFi also films videos up to 320x240 (QVGA) at 15 frames per second. In addition, the camera counts with smile detection shooting.
This cellphone features Wi-Fi capability (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G connectivity, using EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card for GSM networks.
This phone also comes with a couple of interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth (2.1) and FM Radio, and Accelerometer.
The Samsung Star WiFi features a mediocre 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate use. This phone has an aproximate 10 hours talk time and a 700 hours stand by time.
Samsung is selling the Samsung Star WiFi for 80 dollars, which is very expensive for comparing with other similar cellphones.
