Apple iPad mini Review

Apple iPad mini is a powerful tablet, with a pretty big 7.9" multi touch capacitive screen, a good performance 1 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.2 MP front side camera.

Apple decided to power this tablet with a powerful Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1 GHz, packed into the Apple A5 system chip with 512 MB of RAM memory. Collaborating with graphic rendering, this tablet also counts with a PowerVR SGX543 MP2 graphics processing unit running at 200 megahertz. A good advantage of this tablet is the 32 GB big internal memory and even though it doesn't have an SD memory slot, it is still enough to store lots of apps, games, songs, photos and videos without even thinking about how much storage capacity is left.

Apple sells the iPad mini in 2 different colors: black and white. Talking about its design, the iPad mini is mainly made of Aluminium, which gives a top level look. The Apple iPad mini is just 0.28" thick, making it one of the thinnest tablet devices out there. Though this device is only 7.87 inches long and 5.3 inches wide, it's able to fit a a 7.9 inches display. Apple has made a really good job making the Apple iPad mini weight just 11.01 oz.

The Apple iPad mini is equipped with an average 7.9-inches display with a 768 x 1024 resolution, giving this tablet device a good graphical experience. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This tablet includes WiFi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices around, acting as a modem or router), 4G (LTE) high performance internet connection and also HSPA+ connectivity, a bit slower 4G technology and 3G fast data connection, over HSDPA and EDGE technologies. The Apple iPad mini uses a Nano SIM card for GSM networks.

This tablet has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. It is capable of capturing 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also features a high number of valuable features: auto-focus, digital image stabilization, HDR mode, face detection shooting, geo tagging and time lapse video.

The Apple iPad mini also comes with some cool characteristics such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The iPad mini uses a 4440 mAh massive Li-Polymer non-removable battery that provides the iPad mini an incredible battery life. An issue to take into account is that this device's battery isn't replaceable so you can't change it when it begins to lose its charge, although with so much capacity you will probably buy a new tablet before that becomes an issue.

Apple is offering the iPad mini for 255 dollars, which is a really high price for comparing with other similar portable tablets. It doesn't matter whether you want it to take many photos, will use it to play games, want a work tablet or need a tablet device to majorly use social networks, you will probably be very satisfied with this tablet.
