Asus FonePad 7 is a mid-end tablet released many years ago, which counts with a good size 7 inches multi touch display, a great performance 1200 megahertz Dual-Core processor, and two cameras, a 2 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera.
Asus decided to build the Asus FonePad 7 using a Intel Atom Z2520 system chip, holding a powerful 1.2 GHz Dual-Core CPU with 1 GB of RAM memory. This tablet has an interesting 8 GB internal memory and an SD card slot, which allows the user to store hundreds of applications and games without any trouble.
Asus sells this tablet in a nice range of colors, black, blue, red, white and gray. Apparently Asus didn't care so much about the weight in this 10.23 oz tablet device. This tablet's thickness of 0.42 inches is quite far from nowadays standards, but it still feels quite fine in the user's hand. The Asus FonePad 7 is quite a compact tablet, taking into account that it presents a 7 inches display and it's just 7.56 inches long and 4.33 inches wide.
This tablet features two cameras, a 2 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It is capable of capturing HD 1280x720 videos. This camera also includes auto-focus and geo tagging.
The Asus FonePad 7 has a nice 1024 x 600 7-inches display, making everything look good. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
This tablet features Wi-Fi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, that is not so fast as LTE networks and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Asus FonePad 7 has two Micro SIM cards to be able to to work with 2 different phone lines or carriers at the same time.
This tablet also comes with a couple of interesting features as Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.
The Asus FonePad 7 is very expensive considering it is priced $ 249, and many similar tablets are sold for much less than that.
