ARCHOS 40 Titanium is a decently made Android phone, counting with a 4 inches touch-screen, an extremely powerful 1300 megahertz Dual-Core processor, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera.
This cellphone is much lighter than what one would think about a device of this size. This device is very thin and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.33 inches.
Archos decided to build this cellphone using a high-tech 1300 MHz Dual-Core CPU, included in the MediaTek MT6572 chip with only 512 MB RAM memory which is a little bit poor for such a solid phone. To collaborate with graphic intensive apps, it also uses an ARM Mali-400 GPU working at 500 megahertz.
This phone has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. The ARCHOS 40 Titanium can also film HD 1280x720 videos. This phone also features auto-focus and flash.
This phone has a nice 4-inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, providing this cellphone with a nice graphical experience. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This device has a mid capacity 1500 mAh replaceable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate use. Archos says this phone has a 12 hs talk time and a 150 hours stand by time.
This phone provides WiFi capability (which it can provide to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ (4G) connectivity, which is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone has 2 SIM cards so it can to work with 2 different carriers or phone numbers at the same time.
This device also includes some cool characteristics like Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth cellphones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device is very overpriced considering it is priced $ 155, while some similar cellphones cost a lot less than that.
