BLU Studio C mini Review

BLU Studio C mini is a little bit outdated Android phone, which features an extremely powerful 1.3 GHz Quad-Core CPU, a 4.7 inches multi-touch display, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera.

BLU equipped this phone with a high speed 1300 megahertz Quad-Core CPU, bundled in the MediaTek MT6582 chip and only 512 MB of RAM memory which is a little low comparing with the BLU Studio C mini's impressive processor. Graphic intensive apps and games usually uses lots of processing time, so the BLU Studio C mini has an extra 500 megahertz ARM Mali-400 graphics processing unit to help the CPU with those tasks. This phone counts with a 4 GB internal storage memory, a medium quantity that should be fine for the majority of users knowing that it also has a slot for external memory cards .

This cellphone is thin and practical, with a thickness of just 0.37". BLU appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 5.5 ounces device. The BLU Studio C mini is available in a wide range of colors like black, pink, orange, yellow, blue and white.

This device has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front camera. It is capable of capturing videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second. In addition, this phone's camera also counts with some nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

The BLU Studio C mini has a interesting 4.7" display with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look nice. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone counts with a medium 2000 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will need to charge it after some moderate use. According to BLU, this device has an aproximate stand by time of 900 hs and a talk time of 24 hours.

This cellphone includes wifi connection (and it can share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ connection type, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This device supports dual SIM so it is able to use 2 different phone numbers and even different carriers in the same phone.

This phone also comes with a couple of cool characteristics as Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device costs around 249 dollars, a really high price for comparing with similar phones.
