BLU Studio mini LTE Review

BLU Studio mini LTE is a not so powerful Android cellphone, having a high performance Quad-Core processing unit running at 1200 megahertz, a medium 4.5" multi-touch display, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 MP front camera.

BLU made the BLU Studio mini LTEavailable just in a nice range of color options: gray, pink, orange, green, blue and white. This device is slim, being just 0.39 inches thick. BLU appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 5.08 ounces phone.

BLU packed this phone with a interesting 4.5" screen, and a resolution of 854 x 480 , making everything look very good. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

BLU decided to equip the BLU Studio mini LTE using a high performance Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1.2 GHz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon system chip and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit poor considering its great processing power. Graphic intensive apps usually consume a lot of processing power, so it uses an extra 450 megahertz Adreno 305 GPU to take some work out of the processor. This device has a fair 4 GB internal memory, which is adequate for the average user having that it also has an external memory slot .

This cellphone offers Wi-Fi connection (and it can share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE high speed connection type and also HSPA+ data connection, which is a lower speed 4G technology and the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA and EDGE technologies. The BLU Studio mini LTE works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It is capable of filming videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera features a few interesting features like auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This phone also includes a few useful features such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone comes with a 1850 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion removable battery providing this phone with a quite short battery duration.

This phone is not a very good choice considering it costs $ 129, while other similar cellphones are a lot cheaper than that.
