BLU Studio X Plus is a fair quality device, packed with an enormous 5.5 inches touch-screen, an extremely powerful 1300 megahertz Quad-Core processor, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.
While this phone only has 6.12 inches long, it's still able to fit a a 5.5 inches screen. While the BLU Studio X Plus is thin and comfortable it's not so slim as many other devices you can find, with a thickness of 0.42". This phone is for sale in a wide range of color options: black, pink, blue, white and gold. This cellphone is much lighter than what you would expect from a phone of this size.
BLU packed this cellphone with a good looking 5.5 inches display, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes everything look beautiful. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
BLU ships this phone with an extremely powerful Quad-Core CPU running at 1.3 GHz with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit low for such a great phone. Graphic rendering generally consume a lot of CPU cycles, so the BLU Studio X Plus counts with an additional 500 MHz ARM Mali-400 graphic processing unit to unload the CPU. The BLU Studio X Plus has an 8 GB quite big internal storage and an external SD slot, enough to install a couple hundred games and applications without any trouble.
The BLU Studio X Plus features wifi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a modem). This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM services.
This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. This phone also films videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. The camera also has a few interesting features: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.
The BLU Studio X Plus also features a couple nice features like Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone uses a large 2600 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, enough to provide the BLU Studio X Plus with a great battery duration. BLU informs a 800 hours stand by time and a 28 hs talk time for this device.
BLU is selling this cellphone for $ 125, which is not a good offer for comparing with other similar phones.
