GIGABYTE GSmart T4 Review

GIGABYTE GSmart T4 is a mid-end phone, coming with an extremely fast 1.3 gigahertz Dual-Core processing unit, a medium 4 inches multi touch capacitive screen, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. But let's get into a bit more detail.

This time, it seems like Gigabyte didn't care so much about the weight in this 4.27 oz device. This cellphone has an amazing design, with a thickness of just 0.39".

This phone has a very good 800 x 480 4-inches display, making everything look great. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

Gigabyte decided to equip this cellphone with an extremely powerful 1.3 gigahertz Dual-Core processing unit, packed into the MediaTek MT6572 system chip and only 512 MB of RAM memory which is a little low for such a powerful phone. To help with graphic calculations, this phone also uses a 500 MHz Mali-400 graphics processing unit. The GIGABYTE GSmart T4 counts with a 4 GB internal storage, a passable amount that should be having that it also has an external memory card slot .

The GIGABYTE GSmart T4 provides Wi-Fi capability (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless router), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and 3G fast connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The GIGABYTE GSmart T4 supports dual sim so it's able to use 2 different phone numbers and even different carriers in the same phone.

The GIGABYTE GSmart T4 has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. To complete the camera, it also counts with flash and auto-focus.

This cellphone features a mid sized 1400 mAh Li-Polymer replaceable battery that can keep this phone running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily. Gigabyte says this cellphone has a 150 hs stand by time and a 4.5 hours talk time.

This cellphone also includes a couple of useful features such as Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth cellphones and accessories), GPS Geolocation and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is not very cheap considering it costs $ 165, while some similar cellphones are offerred way cheaper than that.
